To qualify for this course you must already hold a diploma in Holistic Massage

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils from plants for their therapeutic properties. The oils are used for treating medical and non-medical conditions. Plant oils have been used for their health benefits for hundreds of years.

Curriculum
Theory of Aromatherapy
• History of Aromatherapy
• Knowledge of approximately 40 oils
• Main chemical constituents for each oil
• Methods of extraction
• Therapeutic properties of the oils and their effects
• Contra-indications for each oil
Practical Aromatherapy
• Blending the oils
• Aromatherapy massage
• Chemistry
